Get Healthy, Glowing Skin

Flawless skin isn’t something people are born with – you have to work at it.
There are three critical steps that we need to take, in order to keep our skin looking its very best.
Our skin cells renew every four to six weeks. New cells are born deeper in the tissue, as they travel up to the skin’s surface, they get older. By the time they reach the surface, they will be dead skin cells – we need to get rid of them.  Exfoliation eliminates the dead layer of skin, revealing the newer, fresher and brighter skin cells, hidden underneath.

“Exfoliation is considered one of the most important techniques that you can perform on your skin. It will resolve certain skin problems, as well as achieving healthy and glowing skin” - Renee Rouleau

1. Remove unwanted hair
Hair-free skin for two to four weeks sounds fabulous. If long term hair removal is what you’re after, get yourself lazer hair removal, a full body wax or use home waxing strips. You can also epilate or pluck (if your completely bored with no intentions to go out for the entire day, or night.) But if you prefer to steer clear of pain, you can also grab the wonderful Venus bikini razor, which comes with a little bikini line razor.

2. Exfoliate
Forget those fluffy nylon bath things you get with a bottle of body wash. And throw out that bacteria-infested loofah. Use exfoliating gloves, they’ll softly remove dead skin cells whilst you rub in a circular motion over your body. Exfoliating gloves can be used with either soap or scrubs.

Exfoliates remove dead skin cells, allowing your skin to have a healthy glow. It aid’s rejuvenation of the skin, while preventing undesirable conditions such as acne scarring or in grow hairs. Naked Tan Body Polish smells like summer, and works wonders. Made up of walnut shell and avocado oil, this particular exfoliate is perfect for achieving clean, smooth skin or can be used a pre-tan scrub.

3. Moisturise
Moisturiser should be used after every shower, it treats your skin when it's dry, and prevents it from drying out again. Moisturisers do this by holding water in the top layer of the skin. Moisturiser protects your skin from the environment, by creating a barrier on your skin that keeps oils from escaping, and blocks harmful outside elements causing dryness or irritation. Moisturiser’s soak into the skin, adding radiance and moisture - for the ultimate summer glow.
